Chad readers raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind Fund - £2,470.59 towards £2,500 target for dog 287

THE fund for our 287th dog is just under £30 short of its target thanks to a triple treat of donations from long-time supporters of our guide dogs appeal.

Over the past decade, ‘Bertie Bassett’ and his friend ‘E.C.’ have collected more than £1,400 for the fund, with their latest contribution of £69.16 helping to take the total for our latest dog to £2,470.59.

Making a contribution towards the £2,500 target for dog No 287 could not be easier as cash donations can be left at Chad’s Newgate Lane reception office or sent by post (cheques/ postal orders only made out to Chad’s Guide Dogs for the Blind Fund) and sent to: The Editor, Chad, 121 Newgate Lane, Mansfield, NG18 2PA.
