A service at St Edmund’s Church, Mansfield Woodhouse, preceded burial at the town’s cemetery of Mrs Elsie MaudPincott(87),ofGladstone Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. Born at New Houghton and educated at the village’s Rotherham Road School, Mrs Pincott had been a life-long local resident, living at Mansfield Woodhouse for the past 66 years. Shehadworkedfor MetalBox until retirement 27 years ago and her interests included going to Skegness, spending time with her grandchildren and watching soap operas and westerns on television. MrsPincott,whodied at King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, leaves her son, Walter, daughter Pat, 11 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
