MR M. ALLIN : Obituary
A service at Mansfield crematorium chapel preceded cremation of Mr Maurice Allin (81), of Victoria Road, Kirkby. Born and educated at Kirkby, Mr Allin had been a life-long local resident. He had been a bus driver for Butler Brothers until retiring due to ill health in 1986. His hobbies included gardening, reading, playing the lottery, visiting family and walking. Mr Allin, who died at his home, leaves his brothers Norman and John, sister Jean and nephews and nieces. Mourners were Mr and Mrs N. Allin, Mr and Mrs D. A. Harris, Mr R. Harris, Miss D. Allin, Miss J. Allin, Mr D. Ball, Mr J. Allin, Mr and Mrs M. Easom, Miss M. Allin, Mr P. Pickering, Mrs J. Yates, Mr and Mrs S. Yates, Mr D. Summers, Mr L. Moore, Mr M. Elliott, Mrs A. Butler, Mr and Mrs P. Corbett, Mr S. Bingham, Miss T. McGurk, Mr and Mrs R. Easom, Mr P. Buckley. Floral tributes were from the family. Donations were for Cancer Research. The service was conducted by the Rev A. Butt, and arrangements were by A. Wass.
