AN EDWINSTOWE based baby care company has been given a prestigious royal award for its business success, despite having just three employees.
4fx Healthcare took the Queen's Award for Outstanding Innovation with their product, the Baby nose-clear, when the winners were announced on the Queen's birthday.
Husband and wife team John Soulsby and Sarah Giles run the company and produce their complete product range entirely in Nottinghamshire.
"We are absolutely thrilled to receive this award, we had no expectations whatsoever," said John, "We are a tiny niche company and were advised to go for a Queen's Award but never imagined we would be successful."
Baby nose-clear now consists of a range of products designed to help clear nasal congestion in children from birth, helping breathing, sleeping and eating.
The product, which was featured as one of the Daily Mail's best healthcare gadgets, is now available in pharmacies and supermarkets across the country with John and Sarah now looking at exporting to the USA, Canada and South Africa.
