Rosebys' jobs at risk in Mansfield

JOBS could be under threat at Rosebys' two Mansfield stores after the home furnishings firm went into administration on Friday.
Rosebys has 280 stores across the country including branches at the Portland Retail Park and Four Seasons Shopping Centre.
None of the chain's 2,000 staff have been made redundant, but three administrators from KPMG Restructuring have now been appointed.
Joint administrator Howard Smith said the business would continue as normal for now as they looked for potential buyers for the firm.
"The business is continuing to trade as normal while we review the financial position and seek a going concern sale. No employees have been made redundant to date.
"In common with many retailers, the group has experienced difficult trading conditions, leading to continuing losses.
"Rosebys has recently sought to re-finance, but this did not prove possible in the current economic climate. We are looking for offers for the whole or any part of the business."
