Keep your cool, MP urges Christmas shoppers

SHERWOOD MP Paddy Tipping, centre right, joins shopworkers at Westminster to support a campaign by the Usdaw union to reduce abuse and assaults on shop staff during the festive period.
The union has launched the 'Keep your Cool at Christmas' campaign after a survey showed two-thirds of shop staff have been abused in the last year and 10 per cent have been physically assaulted.

Mr Tipping told Chad: "Christmas shopping can be exciting but stressful. I urge all customers not to take out their frustration on shop staff who have to work hard, often for long hours at this time when shops are at their busiest."
