ANNESLEY could receive a jobs boost after E.ON announced on Wednesday plans to create 465 new jobs in the area.
The energy giant will spread the jobs out between its Sherwood Park premises, Phoenix Park and its Nottingham city centre base.

Bosses say the jobs will cover a range of fields and include customer service positions, finance roles, IT positions an
d management.

Mandy Flatley, head of human resources for E.ON UK's retail division, told Chad the news would provide a big lift for the area.

"We have always had a significant presence in Nottingham and we currently employ 3,500 people here," she said.

"We are proud to be one of Nottingham's top employers, both in terms of the number of colleagues we have and the job conditions we offer.

"It's a real joy to be able to bring even more jobs to the area. We are working hard with employers to ensure we can attract as many local people as possible.

"We are fully committed to ensuring E.ON remains a great place to work and that we continue to demonstrate our credentials as a clear employer of choice. We would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in any of the roles available."

Interested candidates can visit www.eon-uk.com/careers to find out more or call 0800 068 4112 for information on customer service roles.
