THE North of Englands's leading property security company, The Defence Group, is offering to help safeguard businesses' property in Mansfield during the credit crunch with a free security audit.
British Chambers of Commerce, police and insurance agencies are all forecasting a growth in crimes against business.

A spokeswoman for the Federation of Small Businesses said firms had been reporting an increasing level of crimes like theft from company vehicles.

She said: "I think probably the most startling increase is crime against business vehicles. This is a major problem from the business point of view, and we are trying to get more businesses to report crimes when they happen."

The Defence Group specialises in the installation and servicing of a wide range of security products, including roller shutters, security lighting, CCTV and access control.

To take advantage of the free security audit call The Defence Group on 0114 244 1178 or email sales@defencegroup.co.uk
