AN Annesley-based firm has unveiled a new system which could save schools, colleges and other organisations cash when investing in information technology.
Custard Technical Services Ltd is the only company in the East Midlands to install and sell SoftXpand software, which allows six users to work on one PC at the same time.
Bosses will now take the new product to every school in Nottinghamshire to show them the system, which includes a keyboard, monitor and mouse and allows six people at the workstation but uses only one PC.
Mark Stevenson, a spokesman for the company, told Chad: "This solves the problem that schools, volunteer organisations, internet cafes and youth centres have, which is a limited IT budget and rising electricity costs."
