Edwinstowe undertaker hands over business to his daughter

A funeral director from Edwinstowe who has received hundreds of "thank you" cards during his 55 years in the job is keeping the business in the family by handing over the reins to his daughter.
A founding director of Robert Woodhead Ltd, Mr Peter Rhodes has decided that it is time to let his daughter, Melanie Bainbridge, take over the position of funeral director now he has reached his 70th birthday.

With more than 20 years' experience in the business and strong links with the Edwinstowe community, Mr Rhodes' daughter, Melanie, was the obvious choice to take over from her father.
