TOWN centre operations manager Jan Clarke-Humphries, left, celebrates retaining Park Mark status at 10 car parks in Mansfield along with Coun Kate Allsop, the district council's portfolio holder for regeneration.
Water Meadows, Four Seasons, Toothill Road and Grove Street are the latest car parks to be given special status after an assessment by the British Parking Association.

Coun Allsop told Chad: "I am delighted that Mansfield District Council's town centre car parks have again received the Park Mark status.

"I hope this sends out the message to residents and visitors to Mansfield that our car parks are safe and user-friendly — and I would encourage anyone to come into the town centre and use them."

The authority says the chances of being a victim of crime in one of Mansfield's town centre car parks are just one in 63,000.
