MANSFIELD Building Soc-iety staff present £2,100 to the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the firm's chosen charity for 2008.
The firm raised £1,000 at its annual meeting, £500 through its Community Support Scheme, while its sports & social committee raised £600 through raffles, coffee mornings and quizzes.

Says Samantha Hey, regional corporate partnerships manager: "They have gone to great efforts to raise money that will fund heart nurses within local communities — their support is greatly appreciated and helps keep vulnerable hearts beating."

Staff pictured are, back from left, Pete Doherty, Melanie Clark, David Charlton, Karen Porter and, front left, Mandy Whitten with BHF's Samantha Hey, right.
