LETTER: Can you help with family research?

LETTER: Can you help with family research?

I do hope your readers can help me with my family research as I have drawn a blank with my grandfather.
His name is William Henry Taylor, he died on August 29 1926, aged 57, and is buried in Mansfield Cemetery, grave number 7558.
I know from my late mother, his daughter, that he belonged to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB), and consequently had a funeral with the appropriate symbolic flag covering his coffin.
Would anyone have a copy of the Chad’s obituary report from his funeral, and if so, would it be possible for me to acquire a copy? Hopefully there may be a list of mourners to further my research and possibly a photograph?

LETTER: Politicians need to answer some questions about the economy

I think you should use the Chad to ask some serious ‘middle-of-the-road’ questions of politicians.
Let me clear my position. I have never voted Tory in my life, also Labour once, and I got Geoff Hoon and Tony Blair in that poll.
The laws of libel do not allow me to say what I think of both, sufficient to say unlike the British electorate, I weighed both of them up in ten weeks, not ten years.
