POLICE say they could not arrest two boys aged four and six in connection with a vandal-attack on three cars in a Sutton car park because they were too young.
The vehicles were damaged in the car park, off Downing Street, on 27th September after bricks were thrown from nearby Beighton Street.

Huthwaite woman Norma Ryan was one of the motorists who had their cars damaged.

"It cost £60 to get the window replaced and I had to take time off work which also cost me my wages –– the incident cost me £75 in total," she said.

Another car had a chip in its windscreen, while a third was left with a dent in the roof.

A police spokesman confirmed to Chad on Monday that an officer had informed the parents of the children and the babysitter who was caring for them at the time, saying no arrests were made because of their age.

I'd sue the parents and babysitter.

Why on earth are two kids aged 4 and 6 out unsupervised anyway? Perhaps the parents should be arrested for child neglect?

I agree with you peardrops, where were the parents, who I would hold 100% responsable for this incedent. They should be forced to pay for the damage and charged with neglect. I hope they are reading this, shame on you.

I agree totally,
I know i wouldn't be allowed to leave my four children for even 2 mins and go for essential items from the local shop or else id be in trouble, so why are 2 very young children allowed out in the streets alone to wreck havoc and yet nothing be done?

what an example of parenthood.we may as well book a space for these kids in lincoln prison on their 18th birthday.
the parents should be named and shamed.they would be moaning for england if the same happened to them.

ive spoken too my gran today who lives across on a street very nearby, it appears this story isn't as black n white as the Chad would have us believe, the kids were in their own back garden and ok they were throwing stones(but not with intention)and some landed over the fence into the car park were the drivers parked up very closely to the wall which houses there back garden, i think upon hearing this, the kids weren't running riot on their own in the streets, they were in their own garden, they threw pebbles/stones (my own 16month old baby has in fact today played with pebbles in my grans garden albeit not thrown them!)but this story is no were near as bad as the chad would lead us to believe! this is just another story selling report...wonder if nationals have been in touch yet and propagandised it even more !!!
