A WOMAN was filmed being taunted seconds after a yob threw a bucket of kitchen waste over her head in Kirkby.
The 54-year-old woman was walking along Pond Street at around 9.30pm on Sunday (4th May) when a young man struck up a conversation with her.

As she was distracted a second youth appeared and threw the bucket of waste over her head.
Then the first youth swore at the woman and filmed the incident on his mobile phone.

Pc Luke Norman told Chad: "This is being treated as assault. It was cruel and demeaning and has caused the victim considerable distress.

"We are appealing for witnesses to this attack, particularly three young men in a vehicle and another passer-by, who were all in the vicinity at the time."

Anyone with information about the incident or who has seen the video is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on Mansfield 420999 ext 3666 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
