ATHLETE Michael Warner sprints down the aisles at Sutton Asda to promote the supermarket's Sporting Chance project.
The scheme is part of a nationwide initiative by the supermarket giant, which aims to get each store across the country to raise £500 to support local athletes in their bid to reach the London 2012 Olympics.

Michael (17), who won the 400m and 200m at the Nottinghamshire County Championships, told Chad competing in the Olympics would be a dream come true.

"I have got big dreams of getting to the Olympics and am determined to work very hard in training and give it my best shot," he said.

"The Sporting Chance programme really helps me. It is very expensive paying for petrol and hotels when I travel around the country for championships and I am very grateful for every penny I get."

Leanne Coupe, who organised the event, told Chad the store will be organising a number of further events to help send Michael on his way.
