PEDAL power . . . Two Stanton Hill work colleagues are preparing to saddle-up this weekend to raise cash for charity.
Chris Smith (27) and Ian Earley (36), who both work at Robinsons Plastic Packaging in the village, will be embarking on an 80-mile bike ride from Mansfield to Skegness on Saturday to raise funds for Meningitis UK.

The caring duo have been training hard ahead of the fundraiser and say they are just hoping the weather will be kind to them.

'Experience'

Chris told Chad: "I had meningitis when I was 15-years-old and came through it ok but the experience made me want to help others with the illness.

"So far we have raised around £170 but there is still time for people to sponsor us and support Meningitis UK."

Anyone wanting to sponsor the pair should contact Chris on Mansfield 423155 or 07856 451401.
