A NEW commercial development of office space and industrial units could be built in Sutton if council chiefs approve the plans.
Leicestershire-based Westleigh Developments Ltd hopes to build 40,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of industrial units on wasteland located off Coxmoor Road.

The office space will be divided into five two-storey buildings, while the industrial space will be divided into ten units of different sizes.

Matt Moore, property director at Westleigh, told Chad: "We are delighted to announce this new commercial development in Sutton.

"We have a wide-range of successful commercial projects throughout the East Midlands and believe this new site will prove just as popular.

"It is perfectly located just off the A38 which provides easy access to Junction 28 of the M1, while Sutton Parkway railway station is just minutes away and offers regular services to Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop."
