A SUTTON mum will put her best foot forward this summer when she takes part in an 11-mile charity walk in memory of her daughter.
Jayne Griffin, of Garden Lane, will join a group of fellow fundraisers on a walk around Teversal Trail on 6th July to raise funds for road safety charity BRAKE.

Jayne's daughter Chelsea was killed after she was involved in a road smash in Skegness
in August 2006.

She previously raised hundreds of pounds for the same charity last August after she and fellow fundraisers took part in a 21-mile hike from Mansfield Bus Station to Matlock High Tor.

And Jayne told Chad: "This walk aims to raise awareness about road safety and the need for both drivers and children to be safe on the road.

"I wanted to do something to honour Chelsea's memory and this is a great way of doing that.

"This walk is much easier to do than last year's walk and means more people can join us to help us raise money for this excellent charity."

Anyone wishing to support Jayne is being urged to make a donation to the BRAKE organisation by visiting www.brake.org.uk.
