FOUNDER member of the Blind and Partially Sighted Alliance Group Doreen Humpherson, front, leads a Tai Chi class held at the Ashfield Play Forum in Sutton.
The group has recently received a grant from the Big Lottery Fund, which will allow members to provide more outings and activities for partially sighted people in Ashfield.

Doreen, who founded the group eight years ago, told Chad: "Since I founded the group, it has gone from strength to strength.

"We support each other and are able to provide social outings, activities and friendship and anyone who is partially sighted and wishes to join should get in contact."
