ASHFIELD residents are invited to two fundraising events organised by the Kirkby Rotary Club in aid of good causes in the community.
The first is a 'silent auction' which will be held on 3rd September at St Wilfred's Parish Hall in Kirkby and begins at 7.30pm.

There will be no auctioneer and bids will instead be written on paper attached to the item being sold, with the highest listed bidder winning the item.

Tickets priced at £5 are available by contacting Mansfield 552612 or on the door.

The second event is a 'musical extravaganza' which takes place at Kirkby Festival Hall on 6th September with music from he Stardust Big Band, Time Zone and the Kirkby Colliery Welfare Band.

  • Tickets are priced at £4 and are available from the Festival Hall on Mansfield 457101.
