A PUBLIC consultation on plans to make major changes to health services across Mansfield and Ashfield will take place on Tuesday.
Nottinghamshire County Primary Care Trust hope to revamp services at Ashfield Health Village and Mansfield Community Hospital as part of an overall strategy to deliver major benefits to patients and staff.

The proposals include the establishment of new services for general and musculoskeletal rehabilitation in two empty wards at Mansfield Community Hospital and the creation of a new neurological rehabilitation centre at Ashfield Health Village.

A new 16-bed ward for stroke and neurological rehabilitation could also be created at Mansfield Community Hospital, along with the possible development of other primary care facilities and a new community pharmacy centre.

The public meeting will take place at Mansfield Community Hospital between 6 and 7 30pm.
