TWO charities benefitted from a special car wash day at Ashfield Fire Station on Saturday.
The Mansfield and Ashfield Driving Instructors Association held its annual fundraising event in aid of the National Fire Brigades Benevolent Fund and the Parents Association for Seriously Ill Children (PASIC) - a Mansfield and Ashfield charity which helps children diagnosed with cancer.

As well as washing cars, there was also a tombola and a guess how many balloons can fit in a car game with the first prize a painting by local artist Sylvia Maddocks.

Pictured at the event on Saturday are some of the fundraisers.
