A DOZEN jobs are expected to be created in Kirkby after an outdoor clothing firm announced plans to set up a manufacturing operation in the town.
Peak Clothing (UK) Ltd, which manufactures protective clothing and work clothing, will set up business at its new warehouse on New Line Road as part of a nationwide expansion.

Steve Clelland, the firm's managing director, told Chad: "This new site will complement our business-to-business operation and gives us the opportunity to create a warehouse, distribution centre and embroidery and print service in the UK."
