A KIRKBY man serving an eight-year jail term for burglary has absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire during temporary release.
Police say Kevin Gamble (49) failed to return to HMP Sudbury on Saturday.

He was jailed at Aylesbury Crown Court in March 2007 for burglary.

Officers say he is 5ft 9in tall, of thin build with short hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Gamble's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
