MEMBERS of the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation (NCF) award grants totalling £200,000 to Ashfield organisations at St Mary's Court in Sutton.
The grants were awarded from the Fair Share Trust, which is part of the BIG Lottery and managed regionally by former Chad charity the NCF.
The funding will be used to provide activities supporting older people and establish financial help and debt management services in the Leamington, Carsic and New Cross areas of Sutton.
Priorities have been established by a panel of residents and organisations and the activities will build on the Fair Share Youth initiative funded earlier in the year.
Among those receiving the awards were, from left, Philip Marsh, from Age Concern, who got £49,426; Pam Kearney, from Cashfields Credit Union, who got £42,800; Sue Davies, chief executive of the Citizen's Advice Bureau, who got £58,543, and Barry Clarke, chairman of Our Centre, who received £49,929.
