SIX-YEAR-OLD Jordan Peters is turned into a rabbit by Ashfield district councillor May Barsby, left, and Nottinghamshire County Council chairman Joan Taylor, right, during an Ashfield Play Care Scheme open day at The Lammas.
The open day aimed to raise the profile of the charity, as well as gather much-needed funds and featured a variety of popular children's activities.

The organisation was founded in 1990 to offer high-quality childcare at an affordable price for families on a low-income with children aged between four and 12.

Organiser Shirley Wiffen told Chad: "The day went very well, we got a good turnout and excellent support from the community.

"Everyone had a lot of fun and this really helped to let people know what we are about and raise our profile."
