TEVERSAL suffered League Cup extra time heartbreak at Carnarvon Street on Tuesday night after a 90th minute penalty by Jack Townroe brought them level with Worsbrough Bridge.
The Briggers had led from the fourth minute courtesy of an own goal by Kieran Thacker, but Tevie were thrown a lifeline by that last gasp spot kick to set up the extra half-hour.

However, four minutes into the first extra time period Worsbrough were awarded a penalty which Luke Forgione converted, then two minutes into the second period Ryan Poskitt made it 3-1 to the visitrs.

Teversal rallied, but Marc Rathbone's 119th minute reply came too late to save the tie.
