SUTTON Town gave Blidworth Welfare a footballing lesson last night at The Fieldings to progress into the next round of the Phoenix Floodlit Trophy with a 4-1 win.
It was a totally different game from the one last October at The Welfare Ground, where the Snipes failed to claim maximum points despite dominating the game.
It was a different story in last night's cup tie and it took Sutton just one minute to take the lead from the penatly spot.
On form striker Rob Cam slotted home for his 11th goal of the season after Will Thomlinson had been hacked down in the box.
Sutton put Blidworth under the cosh for all of the first half to go into the break with a 3-0 advantage with further goals coming from Carlos Forbes & Will Thomlinson.
The second half was much as the same as the first half, although Miles pulled a goal back to give the visitors hope.
But Sutton re-grouped and increased their lead with a fourth goal coming from Ryan Booker.
Blidworth knew there was no come back as the players' heads began to drop.
