DR SHASHI Bassi from the Selston Cosmetic Clinic demonstrates the pioneering new Vaser Liposuction treatment on Friday.
The Nottingham Road clinic is one of the first in the UK to offer the treatment, vowing to achieve better results than conventional methods and is an alternative to liposuction surgery which involves a general, rather than a local anaesthetic.

Dr Bassi, who has been performing cosmetic procedures for three years, told Chad: "This treatment works much better that Smart Lipo where the results were sometimes ineffective.

"In addition, the fat is melted away even after the treatment and recovery time is quick –– we usually have people in on Friday and then they are back to work by Monday."

"It's great that we can offer this treatment in the Nottinghamshire area because people often have to travel to London or Nottingham for such treatments. It also means we can offer the procedure at a competitive price."
