A CHARITY concert to help raise funds for brave youngster Edward Bright will take place on Saturday.
Little Edward (8) lost both his arms below the elbow as well as his legs after he was struck down by meningitis in March 2006.

Since the tragic story hit the spotlight when his family launched an emotional appeal for help, the community has taken the Ripley youngster to its heart to help raise thousands of pounds for him and his family.

Members of the Pye Hill Male Voice Choir will be the latest organisation to dig deep for the Bright family, when they hold a special concert at Jacksdale Community Centre at 7pm.

Tickets costs £3.50 and can be bought by contacting concert organiser Edward Holmes on 01773 608735.
