Sherwood Forest

Sherwood Forest Golf Club

The Course

18 holes, 6998 yards. Par 71 S.S.S. 73.

Traditional heathland course with an abundance of heather, pines and silver birch, designed originally by H.S.Colt and remodelled by the great James Braid in the mid 1920s.

Founded as the Mansfield Golf Club, at Ravensdale, the club changed its name to Sherwood Forest when it moved to its new course in 1912 and celebrated its centenary in 1995.
