Nearly 50 people in Sherwood Forest Hospitals - including Sutton's King's Mill - battling Covid

The trust – which runs Sutton’s King’s Mill, Mansfield Community and Newark hospitals – was caring for 48 Covid-19 patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on November 9 was up from 34 on the same day the previous week.

Across England, there were 7,053 people in hospital with Covid as of November 9, with 865 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has increased by 35 per cent in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has increased by 32 per cent.
The figures also show 52 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in SFH in the week to November 7. This was up from 39 in the previous seven days.
